Okonjo Iweala, Ocampo and Kim

In as much as i respect the programs of Obama and his administration the choice of Kim as world bank nominee is to me a very wrong choice when contrasted with the fact that the world economy is just recovering from the debacle caused by wrong choices by federal reserve and wall street. The act of putting square pegs in round hole has been a problem in Nigeria and we are just recovering from such problems often caused by nepotism, personal choices driven not by merit but by feelings. Why didn't American president nominate somebody like Ocampo or someone with such credentials? The post of world bank president to me is not a child's play, personal company nor company of anybody's father that will be shared and given to whomever he chooses shalom

What I know about the discovered money-Adamu Muazu

Following the  recent outrage that ensued about the discovery of a huge sum of money in a Lagos building, a one time chairman of the People’s Democratic Party has finally explained his connection to it. Adamu Mu’azu, a former chairman of the People’s Democratic Party yesterday disclosed about his connection to the Lagos property where the anti-graft EFCC found over N13 billion hidden in an apartment. According to Premium Times, Mr. Muazu said although he built the property, it was no longer his. Operatives of the EFCC, acting on a tip off on Wednesday, found $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23,218,000 hidden inside an apartment at Osborne Towers, Ikoyi. The recoveries were valued at N13 billion based on prevailing exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Nigeria. We are in trouble in this country. The problem with this country is and still is ethnicity. And way politicians play politics with the present and future of Nigeria all in a bid to gain political power is appalling.  Jonathan's administration witnessed between 2345-2500 people killed b y Boko Haram and instead of politicians from opposing camp to closer rank and help solve the problem they used inciting words and lies to mobilize the masses against him.
