NEWS
Nigeria has
officially been declared Free from Ebola. This heartwarming news was declared a
few hours ago by World health Organisation (WHO) representative Rui Gama Vaz at
a news conference in the capital Abuja.
It will be
recalled that Ebola came into Nigeria in 20th July through a Liberian
diplomat Named Sawyer. The arrival of Ebola in Nigeria, which is Africa's most
populous nation, leading economy sparked fears of its rapid spread throughout
the country of 170 million people.
It is
commendable that Nigerian authorities quickly mobilized and tackled the problem
with all seriousness it requires leading to this spectacular news that we are
now sharing.
The holistic
approach used by Nigerian health authorities to track all the contact, quarantine,
and monitor and treat the disease led to rapid decline and finally the end of
Ebola outbreak in Nigeria.

eight people died out of 20 confirmed cases in Nigeria's biggest city, Lagos,
and the oil hub of Port Harcourt, while nearly 900 people were monitored for
