Update on Abobaku who was allegedly buried alive with Oba Okunade Sijuwade

I got this from a facebook post by one Ibeh Gift Amarachi on page of radio biafra London. I am posting it verbatim below:


"A lawless and hypocritical country called Nigeria: Nigeria is the only country where evil is legalized. Welcome to Nigeria where, evil is celebrated and generally accepted. After following up the detailed reports surrounding the death and burial of the Ooni of ife "Oba Okunade Sijuwade",it got totally obvious that Nigeria is more of a barbaric and backward country than anyone can imagine. It is extremely unfortunate to know that, oba sijuwade who was buried on the 14th of august, 2015 alongside with human heads (five human heads and a life man tagged 'Abobaku'), had a church service conducted for him. My questions are; how come the Yoruba pastors conducting crusades in Biafra land are not speaking against this barbaric act? Where are the Nigeria lawmakers with fat allowances and the so called human right activist in Nigeria? Where is the president of Nigeria, who wants to fight against corruption? What name should be given to the clergy man, who conducted that church service? You can't hide the truth for long, it keeps on unveiling itself."

I am short of words since i learnt that the Oba will be buried with a living man called Abobaku who allegedly ran away but was brought back days before the burial rites of the Oba could be continued.

please share this till it get to the authorities. This barbaric act must stop. At this time and age we shouldn't be holding on tight to such despicable practices.

Following the  recent outrage that ensued about the discovery of a huge sum of money in a Lagos building, a one time chairman of the People’s Democratic Party has finally explained his connection to it. Adamu Mu’azu, a former chairman of the People’s Democratic Party yesterday disclosed about his connection to the Lagos property where the anti-graft EFCC found over N13 billion hidden in an apartment. According to Premium Times, Mr. Muazu said although he built the property, it was no longer his. Operatives of the EFCC, acting on a tip off on Wednesday, found $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23,218,000 hidden inside an apartment at Osborne Towers, Ikoyi. The recoveries were valued at N13 billion based on prevailing exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Nigeria. We are in trouble in this country. The problem with this country is and still is ethnicity. And way politicians play politics with the present and future of Nigeria all in a bid to gain political power is appalling.  Jonathan's administration witnessed between 2345-2500 people killed b y Boko Haram and instead of politicians from opposing camp to closer rank and help solve the problem they used inciting words and lies to mobilize the masses against him.
